What is your role at Fullarton Park Dental?
I am the new patient car park just a few metres walk from the front door of the practice. I have thirteen parking spots for our patients to park. Thirteen might be unlucky for some, but I think it suits me just fine!
How long have you been a member of the Fullarton Park Dental team?
I joined the Fullarton Park Dental team in December 2021.
Prior to that there was an old car park, but it had such a narrow driveway that got a bit of a reputation for not being easy to deal with!
The old car park had been under-performing for years and was letting everyone down, so it was eventually performance managed out of the practice and they hired me instead!
Since I joined Fullarton Park Dental I've been told I'm much easier to work with than the old car park, and I am proving very popular with staff and patients alike!
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I love basking in the bright sunny days and meeting the friendly people who visit me each workday.
What does an ideal Sunday look like for you?
We are closed on a Sunday, so I have the day off from my normal weekday duties which is nice!
I like to sneak down the street for a coffee when no one is looking and stare up at the Adelaide night sky without the underside of any cars impairing my view. It's gorgeous!
I have a few. "Baby You can Drive My Car" by the Beatles, "Sweet Car-oline" by Neil Diamond, "Parklife" by Blur. You get the idea.
What’s one thing you’re excited about that is coming up in 2022?
I've noticed there are a few rumblings from builders nearby! I think that the lovely bungalow the practice is fortunate to call home is getting a bit of a makeover during the rest of 2022 which I'm excited about. From what I've heard, there will be more amenities for patients (larger waiting room and more toilets), more surgeries to see our lovely patients, and there's a rumour there will be a new larger staff room too which we're looking forward to as well!
