During emergency dental appointments, we at Fullarton Park Dental ensure that your main concern, either a broken tooth or a toothache, is managed to the best as we can.
At Fullarton Park Dental, we allocate emergency appointments every day to specially tend to your needs in the case of any urgent toothache or a broken tooth.
It is important to book in as soon as possible after experiencing a toothache or breaking a tooth so things do not escalate and become any worse. We can then diagnose and perform emergency treatments such as a deep clean, a temporary filling or even commence a root canal treatment to alleviate the pain and address your concern.
Emergency dental treatment is classed as anything that is causing pain or discomfort to the point that it is actively impacting every day life, or it is likely to become life-threatening within the next 4-6 months (we know it is hard to assess, so we are more than happy to discuss it with you on the phone!)
To help you decide whether you are eligible to receive treatment we have included some examples of emergency situations
- Facial swelling
- Dental trauma
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Broken filling or tooth that is causing pain or damage to the tongue or cheeks
- Pain that is keeping you awake at night or impacting your ability to eat
- Treatment that has been recommended by your doctor
- Loss of a crown
