Went to this wonderfully skilled dentist as i needed a troublesome wisdom tooth extracted. The tooth had always been badly position from the start at a weird angle but was also nearly impossible to keep clean due to the extra cramped space it was in. It had been a nightmare for years when fillings had to be drilled for the cavities it kept on developing because it couldn't be brushed properly and I'd always worried about it rotting away in my mouth and worse, possibly causing rotting in the molars in front of it. Finally I found a dentist willing to take the job of extracting on and I'm so glad it was Dr Filosi. Very talented, he expertly anaesthetised the area and even more expertly extracted the tricky wisdom smoothly with a minimum of trauma and skilful speed: From grasping the tooth with the instruments to it's total removal would've been about 3 minutes, if that. He even put stitches in after to assist and support healing where the tooth used to be making things much easier for me following the surgery. It wasn't evident just how skilled this dentist is until after I was home and the anaesthetic had worn off hours later. Apart from some tenderness around the wound, which was to be expected considering I'd just had dental surgery there, everything was, well, great! I had no pain from the extraction whatsoever and haven't needed any pain relief at any time following the surgery either. One week on and an appointment with the skillful gentle dentist to review the job confirms healing is coming along very nicely. A huge relief to have the tooth out and an even greater relief to have been able to recover so quickly thanks to the talent of the wonderful Dr Filosi!
